Join a fully remote study comparing a marine-derived collagen supplement with glucosamine–chondroitin to see how these supplements may support activity-related knee comfort and mobility in healthy adults.
After a short of daily knee-comfort ratings, participants will be randomized to NT-II™ 240 mg, NT-II™ 480 mg, or glucosamine–chondroitin, taken once daily with food for 12 weeks. You’ll complete weekly knee-comfort surveys, sync wearable data, use the Curovate app to measure knee range of motion at the start and end. There are no clinic visits.
Complete a short screening questionnaire through our online platform to confirm eligibility for the study. If eligible, you’ll review the study details and sign an electronic consent form through the Alethios platform.
Your Study Kit will be shipped to you once you complete your Onboarding Activities, such as surveys and connecting your wearable (or opting out, if not using). Your final Onboarding Activity will be to confirm receipt of your Study Kit. Your study will begin the day after receipt is confirmed.
Log weekly knee-comfort surveys for your nominated activity and confirm daily supplement intake; complete brief interim check-ins around Weeks ~4 and ~8, and a final Week-12 endline (surveys, knee range-of-motion via Curovate, wearable data sync, and complete check-ins at Baseline, Week 6 and End of study (12 weeks)). Adherence is tracked in the Alethios platform and must be met to receive compensation.
After completing all study requirements, adherent participants will receive a $120 Amazon gift card and access to their individual study data.
NT-II™ is a marine-derived undenatured type II collagen. This study is testing whether taking NT-II™ daily can support knee comfort and mobility during activity, compared with glucosamine–chondroitin. Over 12 weeks, researchers will look at weekly knee-comfort ratings, wearable-captured activity metrics and knee range of motion.
