Study on your Menstrual Health

Help explore how a natural ginger supplement may support menstrual comfort.
See If You Qualify

This is a remote research study looking at whether a standardized ginger supplement can support menstrual comfort and overall period wellness. You'll track your cycles from home and share how you feel through short online surveys. Your participation helps researchers learn more about natural approaches to menstrual health.

About This Study

Fully Remote Participation
There are no clinic visits. You complete everything from home using online surveys and virtual check-ins on your phone or computer.
Randomized Control Trial
The randomized control trial study follows your menstrual health across three cycles to understand how a natural ginger supplement may affect period comfort. You will be given either a placebo or the active ingredient.
Use Your Own Wearable
You share data from a wearable device you already own, such as a Garmin, Oura, Whoop, Apple Watch, or Google Health device.
Compensation for Your Time
You may receive $75 Amazon Gift Card as compensation for completing surveys and study activities.

What's Involved

You'll take capsules twice a day across two menstrual cycles, after one baseline cycle with no product. Throughout the study, you complete short online surveys at scheduled times, join virtual check-ins, and share data from a wearable device you already own. Everything is done from home, with no clinic visits.

Check If You Qualify

Answer a few quick questions online to see if you may be a good fit. If eligible, you'll give your informed consent before any study steps begin.

Baseline Cycle

All participants track their first menstrual cycle without taking any product, and then are assigned to receive either a placebo or the study intervention. This helps the study team understand your usual pattern before the supplement starts.

Take the Study Product

You take two capsules a day (one morning, one evening) across two menstrual cycles, completing short online surveys at scheduled times and sharing your wearable data.

Wrap Up and Compensation

You finish your final surveys about your experience. After completing your study activities, you may receive compensation for your time.

What's Being Studied?

The study compares a standardized ginger extract supplement to a placebo to see how menstrual pain, period symptoms, and quality of life change over time. Researchers measure things like pain level and duration, common period symptoms, and how you feel day to day. This helps build a better understanding of how natural ingredients may support menstrual wellness.
