See if you qualify

This is a fully remote, 8-week research study looking at how a daily probiotic and Ahiflower seed oil supplement affects gastrointestinal comfort and general well-being in women. Your participation helps build real-world evidence on how the product performs for women who experience these symptoms.

About This Study

Data Return by Default
Log a brief weekly symptom diary, and once the study ends, receive your own individual responses and data back through the Alethios platform.
Fully Remote Participation
Every part of this study, from consent to your final assessment, happens through the Alethios app. No clinic visits or in-person appointments are required.
Up to $100 in Milestone-Based Compensation
Earn $20 after onboarding and baseline, $20 at Week 4, and $60 at Week 8, as long as you complete at least 85% of the tasks due by that point.
Skin Health Insights
Take a quick facial selfie through the study app at baseline and Week 8. An automated skin analysis gives you an exploratory look at how your skin changes over the course of the study.

What's Involved

You'll take a daily capsule and complete a short weekly diary about your digestion, plus fuller check-ins on your GI symptoms, well-being, sleep, and energy at baseline, Week 4, and Week 8. A brief skin selfie is captured at baseline and Week 8. Everything happens through the Alethios app, no clinic visits required, and the study team checks in through the platform to support you along the way.

Complete Screening and Electronic Consent

Answer a short set of screening questions, including a validated GI symptom scale, to confirm you qualify, then review and sign your consent electronically through the Alethios platform.

Complete Onboarding and Baseline Assessments

Fill out baseline questionnaires on GI symptoms, well-being, sleep, and fatigue through the Alethios app, complete your first skin health selfie, and take your first daily capsule.

Take Your Daily Capsule and Log Weekly Symptoms

Take one capsule a day for 8 weeks and log a brief weekly bowel habit diary. At Week 4, complete a fuller check-in on your GI symptoms, well-being, sleep, fatigue, and product experience.

Complete Final Assessments and Receive Compensation

At Week 8, complete your final questionnaires, product experience survey, and skin health selfie. You'll then receive milestone compensation of $20 at baseline, $20 at Week 4, and $60 at Week 8, up to $100 total.

What's Being Studied?

This probiotic blend has been studied for its effects on gut bacteria and bowel habits, and some of its individual strains have shown promise for hormone-related and skin outcomes in small studies. What's less well understood is how it performs for gas and bloating specifically in women who experience these symptoms regularly. This study tracks that using validated symptom scales alongside measures of well-being, sleep, fatigue, and skin appearance, over 8 weeks of daily use.
